During my years attending the School of Visual Arts, I had the great opportunity to intern at Biggs & Co. and learn the realities of the design industry. These new experiences made me more passionate and assured me that design was my destined career path.
After graduating from SVA in 2015, I was fortunate to work at Good vs Evil. From my time with the company, I had a chance to explore the new phase of the digital design world as well as find ways to solve problems in design.
Now I am an eyewear designer in the US. My first introduction to the eyewear industry happened at my bosses', Alex & Selin’s, apartment at the dining room table where they presented me with a welcoming gift: a millimeter ruler. Now I am a full-time Senior designer at Selin Olmsted Eyewear Design studio with clients ranging from large-scale eyewear license companies to independent eyewear brands located throughout the US. Seeing my designs worn by many people, including celebrities, such as musicians, editors, and fashion models brings me great joy and fills me with a sense of pride that I have the privilege of working with such a great team.
